- I stoped using MLINK also once I got AmiTCP working right with TIA. I'm using
- CSLIP though as why spend another $15 to use PPP when CSLIP is just as fast.
- PPP is not really going to improve anything. I'm sure on some ISP's with a
- REAL PPP account, a Registered PPP would be needed, or if you have to have the
- NEW Features of PPP to use it with your ISP, but other then that CSLIP works
- just fine.

- I was using MFTP and thought it was Great, but then I found out about AmFTP
- and Grabed a copy to Check out, and well, AmFTP is Much better. With Built in
- ADT support so that you can call one of the many AmiNet sights and get a list
- of Recent files since the last time you call is just KILLER. Along with the
- Built in FIND command so you can look for any files on AmiNet, It's just
- Great. Plus Built in Archie. It's great being able to Find files using
- Archie, then you just having to save the address and path of the file on your
- FTP address List. You can then just connect right to the New Address and do
- right to the Location of where the file it as to Download.
-
- It does a whole lot more, I thought MFTP was Great Untel I starting using
- AmFTP. It's FAST even though us using MUI. All I care about it Features,
- Ease of Use, and File Transfer Speed of which I adverage around 3000 CPS,
- which is Great on the Internet. $25 for a Registered Keyfile is Quite CHEAP!

-
- I use THOR myself. NNTP crap is Easy. Read the Doc's and it should be a Snap
- to setup. I didn't read them at first and had No problems, though I have read
- most of them since so I get learn more of the Features but I like it, and at
- ONLY $30 for News/E-Mail Reader it's quite Cheap. The latest 2.22 version is
- pretty much problem free.
